WMO Championbelt

Who is the best MMA fighter in the world?

This question is not only hard to answer for MMA newbies but also experts who can only speculate at the moment. Each reputed MMA organization has its own champions and stars that they like to sell as the best in the world. Unfortunately, it is increasingly becoming an intransparent sport, with less the sport performance but more the pay-per-view-ratings count. Our long-term goal is to see the best fighters of the most prestigious organizations against each other in a duel to promote productive competition in the MMA-World. That's why we present you our WMO World Champion belt (the blue belt) prototype, which will change a lot in the future. Of course, we realize that this will be a long-term process and that thinking will have to change fundamentally for the first time. Since proper (world) champion belts should not be "for sale" but deserve to be earned, we will start with the lower categories starting in 2019. We distinguish champions at the following level:

- World Champion

- Intercontinental Champion (for example Euro-Asia Champion)

- Contintenal Champion (for example African Champion)

- Regional Champion (for example Western European Champion)

- International Champion (for example International German Champion)

- National Champion (for example Swiss Champion)

National and international rankings will be drawn up in the respective countries, which work together with the WMO as the official organ for the professional MMA sport, which will legitimize a title fight at the appropriate level. First events with WMO titles are already in planning in various countries from 2019 onwards. Let yourself be surprised!
